Room description

All the rooms have been tastefully furnished and offer a lounge area and an en suite bathroom with hairdryer. Furthermore, they come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, Internet access, minibar (fee payable), a safe, tiling and air conditioning.

Sport activities description

There is a pool, sun loungers and parasols, a solarium, a steam baths, a massage service, aerobics, a gym, a billiards/ snooker table, darts and a seasonally variable entertainment programme (additional fees apply). The fine sandy of the dune island, Ilha de Tavira, is easily reached by ferry and the hotel bus travels to the landing stage several times a day. The large, excellent golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima are within walking distance. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel; Faro airport is approximately 30 km away. The hotel is located on the banks of the Ria Formosa, in the centre of Tavira. Its décor recreates an Arabian ambience, well in tune with the past of southern Portugal. When staying at Tavira, the Gilão River, Ria Formosa, and shopping district and the sidewalk cafés of Tavira are within walking distance.
