- the shower was nice, a lot of hot water

- it took 10 seconds before there came water from the tap - we didn't heared one friendly word or got one friendly face from the staff!! - there were only 3 big tl-lights in the room, brrrr very kill light. - there was now difference if the window was open of closed. The cold en nois were the same - the coffee was brown water

I will never recommend your website nor the hotel. I booked a room for 1 night and I only noticed after the booking that the rooms had no bathroom. I tried to upgrade to an other hotel from the same group, this was impossible. No reply to my mails. Never again this bad experience, remove my mail from your database.

This hotel offers very good value for single travellers. The room was smallish and clean with everything you need to form a base. Although English breakfast is not my favourite, the food was of good quality and in plentiful supply.The dining room was very well managed and used dishes were readily removed from the dining tables. If you would like somewhere central whereby you just spend time in the hotel generally for sleeping I would recommend this hotel.

I had a high level room overlooking the busy main road which made it quite noisy. I could have overcome this problem by requesting a special request on my booking.

Bad odeur in the room. Too many servants looking at you during breakfast.

Basic accommodation with shared facilities. Rooms are on a busy road and traffic sound can disturb night time sleep.

Clean bath/shower/toilets and beds. Great value breakfast. Would definatley stay there again. Excellent value for money.

Good central location, cheap in comparison to other London hotels. Clean and functionable. Staff did there job. Breakfast was basic but edible.

Staff were not particularly friendly or helpful though they were not rude or nasty either. The pillows I had were clean but were also rather like sandbags, not comfortable.

The only good thing about the County Hotel is its convenient location. Its location in the city is the only reason to think about making a reservation there.

The hotel was disgusting. I'm not very picky as far as sharing bathrooms, but the facilities at the County were downright gross. Everything smelled like urine, there were stagnant puddles on both the bathroom and shower floors, the toilets were constantly full of waste and would overflow, the drain in the shower/bathtubs was always clogged so the water never drained as you tried to wash yourself off. I dreaded having to go to the bathroom or to take a shower because conditions were so unsanitary, wet, smelly, and clogged. As for my room, the staff didn't wash the towels or sheets or provide a wash cloth or a bar of soap in the morning. The entire staff was unpleasant. For breakfast, my online reservation said my booking included English breakfast (hot food), but the staff stamped the voucher with "Continental Only" and in the breakfast room only let go to the cold food stations, whcih meant a serving of cereal, canned grapefruit, and a piece of bread. That would have been fine IF my online reservation had not explicitly said English breakfast.
