Cheiro dos quartos e na recepção. Instalações a necessitarem de remodelações (quartos, Wc) Não deveria ser permitido comer/beber em torno da piscina, na medida em que havia restos de bebidas/comidas dentro de água.Tb não deveria ser permitida a reserva de espreguiçadeiras. muitas delas encontravam-se reservadas, com uma tolha, logo pela manhã, e só eram ocupadas à tarde. Os jogos não deveriam ser permitidos dentro da piscina.

- Boas instalações (no geral); - Boa localização e fáceis acessos. - Excelente piscina; - Qualidade do atendimento;

-Continuo sem perceber porque é que usam camas de solteiro nos quartos... -O quarto era "razoável" mas o mobiliário já é algo antigo...já necessitava de ser renovado. -Vamos em viagem de férias, mas para quem vai com crianças, é importante que a TV funcione e esteja devidamente programada. A TV estava completamente desprogramada e tinha poucos canais disponíveis. -A animação do Hotel é/foi porreira. Só tenho um registo a fazer... raramente falavam ou cantavam em Português. Compreendo que estejam no Hotel maioritariamente pessoal de fora, mas era interessante fazer-lhes passar alguma da nossa cultura e não "levarmos" nós com a deles...

Close to the strip and a 5 Euro taxi away from the old town. Nice clean pool.

Lots of steps - no good for unfit people

Lots of night life about 10 minute walk away

clean great location ok rooms pleasant staff

really bad smell in reception area i believe they have had problems with a lot of rain and drainage problems but its quite off putting

close to the 'strip' area good food avail and bars also 20 min walk to old town which is much nicer

We have travelled the world and this is by far the worst hotel we have ever used. The place has not been properly maintained and is clearly not well managed or all the deficiencies i have mentioned would have been addressed

Location - it was a pity the quality did not match the views.

On entering the hotel we were met by an aweful stench apparently coming from the air-con unit above the door. This persisted throughout our stay. On waking on our first morning there we found dirty water seeping through the ceiling in both the bathroom and the entrance hall. When we complained we were shown another room which we rejected because the enamel was coming off the bath. The third room offered to us was no more than adequate.The room service was shoddy - the bed-linen was well worn and the maid did not remake the beds properly. Food - We only sampled the breakfasts but were not impressed with the selection available. Apart from fresh oranges, which the staff could hardly spoil, there was only tinned pineapple. The sausages served each day were Hamburgers warmed in hot water - they broke as they were lifted onto the plates

The beach was excellent but disabled people would be unable to access it. It is over a mile to the "Old Town" and it would be extremely difficult for anyone with walking problems to walk down the steep hill or to return up it. The courtesy bus runs only 3 times a day and on one occassion left early. The nearest entertainments are strip joints, topless bars and English Bars on "The Strip". There are several good retsaurants within a mile.

For the price I paid and what I need it for, (ie) as a base when visiting clients on the Algarve, the hotel was acceptable. (The key words in this sentence are "what I needed") I would however, prefer to pay more and have decent facilities that had not seen better days, if I was taking my family with me. I would have been very disappointed if this accommodation was what I received for my hard earned annual week or fortnights holiday!.......Beware...... just remember this phrase..."Price is not always everything and value for money is completely different to price"!!!

The communual areas were well kept and tidy. Reception, dining room and general hotel areas were in good decorative order and were pleasant (although the ceiling in the coridors needed de-cobwebbing!). The linnen and towels were clean and fresh and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was most acceptable with bacon & eggs, cerial, toast, fruit and coffee etc. The price was very good.

The main bedroom was ok, although the doors and windows fitted poorly (warped) thus not closing properly, causing a draught.....fine during the summer, but a portuguese night in Feb was a bit cold! The Bathroom was extreemly tired and in need of refurbishment. The Toilet filled all night, the tile grout was black, rust stains on the white bidet and worse of all was that the enamel had worn off the white bath leaving a rusty mess in the bottom of the bath. This had obviously been reported before, as a very poor job of repainting the bath had been done, which had promptly peeled off, leaving the bath in even worse condition. The in bath shower was adequate though and towels were clean and fresh. The kitchenette was tired with poorly fitting drawers and cupboard doors and the sink was in need of a good scrub! All in all, the room was tired and had seen better days. This did not affect me as I just used the room to sleep in as I was there on business. For the price I paid it was still value for money. However, I would not recommend for a holiday for a family.....I certainly would not let my family stay in such a shabby room. For a couple of nights you could tolerate all this.....but for an anual weeks holiday.....I would not be happy. The "gymnasium" was very loosly a gymnasium with 4 or 5 peices of very basic equipment in no more than a large store room or cupboard (no windows)...... a bit like a cellar! The sauna looked ok, but the jacuzzi was just a corner bath that you would install in your house.....not a proper spa and not in a proper surrounding.....just in what looked like a converted coridor and it had been chucked in so the hotel could tick a box saying it had one. Worse of all was the Turkish bath that smelt as though someone had excreted in there. The whole facility was dark, damp and pokey. Again was in need of a good clean and refurb....It seemed like an afterthought and had been converted from a store room or boiler room........I swiftly exited!
